Dehors Bar - Russi(RA)

The architectural themes faced are those which treat broadly of the design of public space and of sustainable construction.

Here the operational aim is a protected covered space tailored to host the clients of a bar situated on a street overlooking Russi’s main square and directly accessible from the street: so presenting itself as a double extension of public space.

Without hiding itself the building, constructed with pillars and iron beams fittingly sheathed in copper, superimposes itself on the side built with the old centre houses of this small town, framing it instead in large transparent glass doors which may be opened and supported by slidable metal fixtures directly mounted upon the building and which guarantee the necessary indoor-outdoor continuity.

Respecting the principles of sustainability, all the systems and building elements are interconnected "a secco" in such a way as to guarantee their dismembering, recovery and reuse.
