The building upon which reconstruction operations were done is a typical isolated 1950s/60s house demonstrating many of the characteristic elements of the residential buildings of the period : from the opening typologies of the internal distributive system to the systems to the building materials used in its realization.

Operations were prompted by clients’ necessity to upgrade the domestic indoor spaces to meet personal requirements and out of a desire to create, within the limits of a very limited budget, the building’s characteristic elements: openings, blackout systems, stairs and balconies, all the while using those techniques and technologies which are currently on the market.
